The Naked Garden adds pear eau de vie (poire williams), verjus, lemon oleo saccharum and mint & tarragon syrup to a base of Naked Malt whisky. The result? A refreshing and balanced mix, with fruity pear, herbal notes and a hint of citrus sweetness. A garden party in a glass that’s pear-fectly refreshing.

Ingredients
Glass: Highball
Garnish: Mint/tarragon sprig
Ice: Crushed
Method
Add all ingredients along with 4 ice cubes to a blender. Blend once then add 4 more ice cubes and blend again. The texture should be slushy.
*Homemade ingredients:
Lemon oleo saccharum:
200g/1 cup sugar and 150g/¾ cup spent lemon peels
Method: Add ingredients to an airtight container, mix until sugar is coating the peels, leave to rest at room temperature for 24 hours, mixing occasionally. Strain through cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer making sure to squeeze the peels.
Mint & tarragon syrup:
5g fresh mint, 5g fresh tarragon, 300g sugar, 300ml water
Method: Infuse fresh herbs into water for 24 hours at room temperature, strain through cheesecloth
